How to write plugin for this section

Hi. New guy here. I want to write a select-and-translate plugin for the ebook viewer to the section in the attachment. I want to ask what this section is called (does it belong to the User Interface Actions Plugin) and would appreciate any suggestions on where to start.

Plugins are currently not supported for the viewer.

Oh, thanks for the quick response. I searched through the https://github.com/kovidgoyal/calibre repo and it appears to be defined in the file selection_bar.pyj. Is it possible to add the functionality by adding functions to the class SelectionBar?

You can of course add whatever you like by modifying the source code appropriately. How to do that depends on what you want to do.
