News feeds and Kindle collections

Hi,

I'm still in awe of how awesome Calibre is - especially the automated news feeds.

When I try to add the sent news items to a collection on the Kindle, the option is greyed out. Books created or created by Calibre, or items sent from other feeds, such as KindleFeeder work.

I was wondering if theres a flag/setting that I need to set in order for the Kindle to allow the news items to be added to collections?

Apart from that very minor issue, Calibre is amazing!

The Kindle doesn't allow periodicals to be added to collections. You'll have to ask AMazon why.

Thanks for the info - the periodicals are pretty cool - I'd thought there might be loads of daily versions of each feed, but it moves them all for me.

Thanks for the great work on the app - it brings the Kindle up to a whole new level!
