News feeds and Kindle collections
Hi,
I'm still in awe of how awesome Calibre is - especially the automated news feeds. When I try to add the sent news items to a collection on the Kindle, the option is greyed out. Books created or created by Calibre, or items sent from other feeds, such as KindleFeeder work. I was wondering if theres a flag/setting that I need to set in order for the Kindle to allow the news items to be added to collections? Apart from that very minor issue, Calibre is amazing! |

The Kindle doesn't allow periodicals to be added to collections. You'll have to ask AMazon why.

Thanks for the info - the periodicals are pretty cool - I'd thought there might be loads of daily versions of each feed, but it moves them all for me.
Thanks for the great work on the app - it brings the Kindle up to a whole new level! |
