Yeah, I have read all of her stuff including the Ruby Lionsdrake titles.

I decided with the big sale to snag some of the Audible Only series for eventual rereads. I don't plan to stay subscribed, but their three books for 99¢ each plus free $20 made for a too tempting offer. I was debating which ones to get when the sale happened and I went a little looney.

Wishful Thinking: How To Be The Best Damn Faery Godmother In The World (Or Die Trying) is the first book in the series of the same name by Helen Harper, many of whose other books I've liked (and especially her Slouch Witch series, as I've mentioned before). Wishful Thinking is free right now at Kindle US and UK. Harper is, however, really good at offering the first book in a series free, and not the rest, or even many sale prices on the rest. Which isn't an issue if you have KU, since mostly (or all?) they are KU. But if you don't have KU, you may want to consider carefully whether you want to get hooked by the first book...

If I didn't already have all three books individually, I'd be excited that the Escape to New Zealand Boxed Set, Vol. 2, which contains Just for Fun, Just My Luck, and Just Not Mine, by Rosalind James, is on sale in the US for only $0.99. But maybe you'll be excited . (The books are all KU right now too, but sometimes it's nice to have copies anyway, or you may not have KU.) I don't read much contemporary romance, but when I do, this series is one of my favorites. Somewhat oddly, it's not on sale in the UK, at least as of now.

Six urban fantasy authors have banded together for a drawing for some signed books, but also are offering six books for free, through Dec 29. I recognize (and like) some of the authors, including Annette Marie, CN Crawford, and Shannon Mayer. And I'm willing to try some new ones for free.

The giveaway doesn't seem to require you to sign up for the drawing, which also gets you on each author's mailing list, so I'm comfortable posting it here. Oh, and the CN Crawford "book" seems to be really a box set of four books...
