Ja, mit dem iPad kann man auch lesen. Die Stärken liegen sicherlich bei Magazinen, Zeitschriften, Comics und allem "Bunten". Besonders dann, wenn die Macher ihre Applikationen darauf anpassen. (In den 80´ern nannte man das Multimedia).

Hier habe ich meine ersten Eindrücke aufgeschrieben.

*Sollte man, wie auch im internationalen Forum, einen eigenen Bereich "Apple Devices" einrichten? Schon heute nutzen ja sehr viele ihr iPhone mit der Stanza bzw. Kindle App.

Würde ich jetzt spätestens mit dem iPad auch für sinnvoll halten - gerade in D dürfte die Zahl der iPad-Nutzer die Zahl der eInk-Reader-Besitzer sogar einholen, meint ihr nicht?

Öh, ich denke, dass die Zahl der Leser auf dem iPhone und iPod Touch hoch genug ist, um ein eigenes Apple-Forum jetzt schon zu rechtfertigen. Eher als eins für txtr.

Dann kann man dort auch gezielter bashen. *nein, war jetzt wirklich nur'n Spaß!*

Nein, entgegen ein paar komischen Berichten gar nicht. Auch nach 10 Stunden Dauernutzung mit diversen Programmen bleibt es
Aber ich mag dann doch eher das analoge Frühstück.

Das Buch sieht auch schon gemacht aus. Ich befürchte nur, man kommt da vor lauter Spielerei nicht mehr zum Lesen ...

Ich hab auch ein iPad. Comics, Zeitschriften (Spiegel) und PDF lassen sich richtig gut drauf lesen. Für (Taschen-)Bücher bleib ich lieber bei meinem Sony 505. eInk ist auf Dauer einfach angenehmer.

Deutsche Ankündigungen werden halt immer besonders gerne gehypt, siehe auch WeTab.

Die Berichte über überhitzende iPads kann ich übrigens wie ihr auch nicht nachvollziehen: mein iPad bleibt auch immer kühl, und das obwohl es in einer Hülle steckt und gerne mal zum Spielen verwendet wird! Da fragt man sich natürlich, was die betroffenen Besitzer mit ihren Geräten gemacht haben, dass so etwas passiert …
