A day late with my weekly report because my mother- and sister-in-law were visiting for my hub's birthday. I picked up one of Laura Kinsale's backlist re-releases from Kobo (The Dream Hunter) with a coupon. I didn't make it back online in time to use more of the coupons, or rather, I was too caught up reading her Medieval Hearts books that I bought last week and completely forgot to use them. D'oh!

The Psy/Changeling and Guild Hunter series are excellent. I love the world building and the story arcs. I also really loved the Faefever series and am now working on Cat and Bones. I'm enjoying the latter but the world building isn't as strong. Interesting characters though and that makes it a good series so far.

That's just it you don't need much world building with this series. It's not that kind of series. It's first person so it's mostly about Cat and her messed up life and the romance with Bones. You could take the vampire part out and it would be just as good as a romantic suspense.
