Metadata problem running calibre under Unbuntu

Ciao

I apologize for my bad English.
With calibre 2.50 and following the context menu (right click on a book) is not usable. It appears but does not respond to clicks.

I can change metadata using the bar on the top of the screen

Using Ubuntu 14.04 64-bit

Thanks to those who can help me

Known issue, nothing to be done.

It is a problem with Ubuntu's Qt5 builds.

Keep in mind that Ubuntu 14.04 is an LTS release, the chances of them updating it are slim to none.

This is what Ubuntu/Debian calls "stable".
