I went to a Pronshop to sell some used books. The guy asked me if there were any pictures in the book, and when I said no, he said, you must be looking for the Pawnshop, two doors down.

gah !!! stop it, you're making my skin crawl, pretty soon it's going to crawl right out the door.

i actually once was dragged to a crab-eating party by an insensitive and inconsiderate friend. i spent the entire time on a chair as far away from the table as possible, hiding my eyes behind my hand. it may surprise you to know that the hardest part for me to bear was the compassion i felt for the poor crabs, and not the revulsion and disgust you might expect.

i nonetheless tried to put on a brave face about it and pretended i wasn't the least bothered.

i'm not sure i'd be willing to do that anymore.

I once tried to eat a case if crabs I had unfortunately caught. Not even a good soak in garlic butter could make them wee buggers taste good!
