MR Plugin Index updated

Because they were not being maintained, the fields that are also in the plugin code have been removed from the index - version, release date, minimum calibre version etc.

For most plugins the index entry consists of the PI thread link and description, an optional Donate link can be used; and the Uninstall and Deprecated fields are retained.

Can the Index be edited to show which plugins are Python 2/3, Python 2 only, and Python 3 only? Thanks.

No - the MR Index fell hopelessly out of date, so the objective is to reduce the amount of data in the MR index so that it does not need updating, for no good purpose, whenever a PI developer changes something.

The index thread is used by the Plugin Updater in maintaining the 'official' index which is used by the Get Plugins feature in calibre itself. The updater takes the plugin thread link, the Donate link, and the Uninstall and Deprecated date from the MR index; the rest comes from the plugin code.
