Sending to Device file structure

I want Calibre to save to device using the same folder/file structure it uses when saving to disk.

This is the setting at Preferences/sending to disk and Sending to device:
{authors}/{title}/{title} - {authors}

The disk structure is author/title/title - author plus cover.jpg end metadata.opf.

The device structure is only author/title - author.

Send to disk and Save to device have separate templates.
You want to make them the same

Many device drivers allow for a custom template that overrides the generic setting. Have you checked the device driver for your device?

That's precisely the point I had in mind as I opened this thread. There someone proposed a solution that 'almost' works, but not as perfectly as needed...

Can anyone else help?

Thanks!
