A must move I think. I personally would still buy the T1 at a premium over the others at $150. However, the e-ink reader market is highly competitive and in order to keep up, the price drop was necessary in my opinion.

I'm thinking of trading in my girlfriend's 505 and getting her the T1.

Net price of $79 is very attractive.

Woo hoo! For any military members (active duty, reserve, retired), the AAFES store system has them for $99 (tax-free) right now. Also available from their internet store at the same price. Just picked one up today.

After reading that the price of the reader had been decreased to $129 and an additional $50 trade in I took two of my readers (one has a broken screen) to the nearest Sony Style store. They wouldn't accept the broken one (which makes sense) but they did allow me to trade in the PRS-300. So I now have a T1 in black. I kinda wish it was still aluminum but I'm not going to keep this one in my pocket so the screen should last a little longer I think ;-)
