Download only unread/not-yet-downloaded article (i.e. be smarter then oldest_article)
I would like to write a recipe for a website that uploads several new articles throughout the day. I run calibre on my computer that is not always on and I do not necessarily run it daily (so oldest_article does not help here). I would like the recipe to download all articles that were added since the last download. Is there any mechanism for doing this in Calibre?
I was thinking about creating a temporary file to store urls of articles already downloaded. (Where to create the file? Does calibre has some cache folder that could be used for this? Is it cross-platform?). Or is there a better way? |

Look in the examples sticky in this forum for an example of storing previously downloaded articles and not re-downloading them.
