"Settings," then "311" - Int'l Kindle searches for wireless providers in the area
Just learned this. If this is old information, then simply ignore.
I learned this on an Amazon Kindle page when a customer was looking for help. Go to "Settings Page" and from there press "311". Apparently, an application is opened up that searches for all wireless providers in the area. Don |

Just remember that if you set a specific location to use for connecting to 3G and then go out of range you will not have the connection anymore, be sure to switch the 311 page settings to automatic if you do go in and change them. (Also, on the K3 remember you have to type Alt+EQQ)
