Table of Contents depth first?
So I'm using ebook-convert to create EPUB documents from a bunch of HTML files. I've noticed that it creates the TOC "breadth first" rather than "depth first" -- that is...
My "Home" doc has links to three pages (but no links to their sections), and then each page has links to three subsections. My TOC ends up looking like this:
Am I doing something wrong? Or is this just the way it is? |

FWIW - with the Edit ToC tool you can move the ToC entries via drag-n-drop or with the green arrows on the right and nest/denest them with the blue arrows - you may need to add the Edit ToC tool to a toolbar/menu or give it a shortcut.

Auto-generated tocs from links will always be in whatever order the links appear in the document, links are not followed while processing tocs. So it wil lalways be breadth first (or more precisely document order).
