Free giveaways from Apple are being updated on Smashwords!!! It looks like they've done 2010-2012 and are working on 2013 now.

Actually, you can go to the home page and there's a button to push for free books. You can also choose your genre and push free books to find them.

However, there is no "This is a good book" category. You have to sort that out on your own.

Touche. I use it often and last month I got a good amount of the ebooks that had the 'SW100' coupon that were 50k + in length. I figured if I was going to go for books that were offered free during the month that I'd go for longer books whose prices added up rather than the shorter ones. I mean if two books are both $2.99 and one is between 1 and 5k and the other is 50k + which is the better bargain? Also I think that more short stories are listed free than novel length books are. Though I did pick up a few books that weren't on sale as well. There are a lot of good books at Smashwords.
