Not so. The Clara 2e is the same price as from Kobo. The difference is that Amazon is saying 1-2 months.

That is so now yes, and I have now placed an order. It wasn't the case when I checked a few days ago.

They don't have the cover in stock at the moment though, so I may get that from Kobo.

Ordered black cover from Kobo, the sea green one was unfortunately not available and the orange one is a bit bright.

On Amazon they're listed at £41.53! And temporarily out of stock.

I got my Kobo Clara 2E earlier this week, my first e-reader.

I've been so happy with it.

Its responsive, easy to work with, and easy to configure.

I hope others who receive theirs also find similar enjoyment.

Haven't had this much fun with a new gadget in a long time.

Let me know how those attached pictures look, I can take more in different settings if you like.

For normal operation, I have the 'Natural light' at 100%, and the 'Brightness' around 5%. I've found that to be functional wherever I am in my apartment.

I've also always taken care that none of mine would show their whiskers on the photos. Perhaps I shouldn't do that. Anyway, I've posted plenty of photos about them in the pet thread of the Lounge (without ereaders muddying the picture), so they've no reason to sulk.
