Sony cuts costs on best-sellers

A number of books (like Ken Follett's latest) have been reduced in price from $20+ to $12.99, obviously to compete with the Kindle.

I was lookin at "Bridge of Sighs" by Richard Russo. The price dropped ~$5 to $10.77. Not quite the $9.99 it is on Amazon, but awfully close!

Already a good side effect of the Amazon Kindle regardless of anyone's thoughts on DRM. The competition is good for all of us.

Just chalk that up to the $100 less you paid for your reader than the Kindle.
