Free (nook/Kindle/Kobo/iTunes) Girl from the Opera House [1920s Historical w/Romance]

The Girl from the Opera House by Staffordshire-resident author Nancy Carson is a standalone tie-in short story to her Black Country Chronicles series of historical literary drama/women's fiction personal saga novels with strong romantic elements starring plucky young women in the eponymous northern England West Midlands region (Wikipedia) during the 1910s-20s, trying to make their way in a changing world, free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins UK's Maze imprint.

This is free to promote the upcoming next two novels in the series, slated for release later this April and in June, respectively.

Currently free @ B&N (also UK), Amazon UK, iTunes UK, and Kobo (available to the UK and probably other EU countries, which were also free when I spot-checked random places like iTunes Denmark), and possibly also Google Play (this seems to be the right link, but I'm not getting a price for it since it's apparently geo-restricted in Canada).

If it turns out you like this one, 2 of the novels in this series (apparently readable standalone, since each one focuses on the life story of a different heroine) are currently marked down to $1.99/£0.99 (apparently $6.99 regularly judging from the non-sale title) in Canada & the UK across multiple stores (linkage goes to Kobo): Poppy's Dilemma & The Dressmaker's Daughter (one of the pre-order ones)
