Also, I'd like to trim down long kindle book titles that often have the series name and the genre in the title.

Is there any way to search for titles that are, say, over 100 characters?

"Quotations" are auto-removed in title sort. not other punctuation like (parentheses) or ...ellipses. (Fanfic titles tend to go more stylistic). Is there a tweak for this? per_language_title_sort_articles doesn't seem suitable.

Author sorting in calibre is working well. But I have issues with books sent to Kobo devices when the author name contains a prefix or suffix.

How can I get an author name e.g. John Smith Jr. to sort on the Kobo by "Smith" and NOT by "Jr."?

Same problem with a prefix. Jane von Doe should sort under "von", but sorts under "Doe" on the Kobo.

Is there a way to make the Kobo device do this properly?
