6" e-ink displays interchangable???
With several people having broken displays on new 6" e-ink devices, I was wondering if the displays are interchangeable between different types of 6" e-ink display devices. E.g. the Sony PRS-500 and the Cybook Gen3. I would assume they could be interchanged between the same type device. E.g. two Cybook Gen3s.
Does anyone who has opened one up have any light to shed on this? Just wondering. |

I would think that if any displays were interchangeable, it would be Vizplex to Vizplex. The 500 used the previous version of the 6" eink which very well may not be compatible.
