Problem with author sort

Hi i have setting where in book information authors shoe exactly as they are so "Leigh Michaels" would show as "Leigh Michaels". But in some books authors shows as "Pamela Labud" and author sort shows as "Labud, Pamela" and its green the background color. how can i fix it? The following tweaks are in use:

Add separator after completing an author
name+ authors_completer_append_separator = False

Use author sort in Tag Browser = categories_use_field_for_author_name = 'author'

Control formatting of title and series
when used in templates = save_template_title_series_sorting = 'library_order'

@pinky62 - What setting do you have Prefs->Tweaks->Author sort name algorithm sounds like it should be Copy

You can override the Author sort in Manage Authors, you can also recalculate all the values in there. Manage Authors can be reached - via right clicking an author name in the Book Details panel, via the 'Alter tag browser' button at the bottom of the Tag browser, or by right clicking an author name in the Tag browser.
