Just found out : Customer support still using kindle keyboards

They have no experience at all with the touch versions let alone with the paperwhites. They are still stuck using the original kindle keyboard versions.

Kindle Customer Service most assuredly do have "experience" with the Paperwhite. They've very helpfully answered several questions that I've asked them.

When you say "they", do you mean all of Amazon's Kindle support reps? Or just the one you happened to talk to?

CS representatives rarely know what is going on in the corporation for which they have been hired to read scripts, and that is mostly what they do, simply read scripts to us. Many/most of the CS representatives are contract workers and many of those don't even reside in the country where the company is headquartered. You might as well listen to totally unsubstantiated rumors on the internet. If you did you would get about as accurate of information as you would listening to CS representatives.

That's certainly been my experience with some companies. But personally I have found the Kindle support people to be reasonably knowledgeable and helpful (but with occasional exceptions).
