NEW Firmware released 1.3.20100512(13-5-2010)
NEW Firmware v. 1.3.20100512 (Russian)
by Zetmolm(from booxusers.com) On the Russian site http://www.onyx-boox.ru/support a new firmware version, v. 1.3.20100512, has been published today. Changes: 1) Support for WIN-1251 has been added. 2) Support for CHM has been improved. 3) The user manual has been added to the Settings. 4) Full support of FB2.ZIP has been added. 5) Possibility to modify the line distance has been realized. 6) A special icon for FB2 has been added. 7) Possibility to set bookmarks in DJVU has been added. 8) Possibility to set a name for annotations in PDF has been added. 9) Support for DOC has been added. 10) Other small corrections. The surprising (and confusing) thing is that this list if changes is completely different from the unofficial new firmware that was published last week. And it's still named '1.3' and it doesnt support TTS or handwriting recongition lets hope that the english version will be released soon |

Remove the language file before the update, or to be more precise change the language in the language file to en_us.
The websites will still point to Russian ones, but google.ru works just as well as any other google. |

Remove the 'language' file and the language will default to English instead of Russian.

Remember: if you remove the language file you will not be able to switch to any other language except English.

scribble seems to work a bit better with this version and the "unofficial" version that has the tts included
