Neue Sony Reader Prs-350/650

Hallo,

offenbar sind die neuen Sony Reader kurz vor der Veröffentlichung, wie Johannes auf lesen.net berichtet. siehe hier

Mir gefällt das schlichte aber wertige Design der Sonys sehr.

Mal sehen, was die anderen Hersteller noch so bieten (z.B. Thalia, Medion, etc.). Zusammen mit den Pocketbooks, könnte das ja mal ein interessantes Weihnachtsgeschäft werden. Fehlt nur noch der deutsche Kindle-Store und wir haben den "Ebook-Boom".

Finde das Design des PRS 650 auch sehr gelungen, leider ist der 650 schon sehr teuer. Aber mal schauen der neue Medion ist auch interessant da er unter 200€ liegen soll, vielleicht geht Sony mit dem Preis runter wenn die Konkurrenz erscheint.

Mir gefällt der kleine kompakte 350 sehr gut. Und vor allem finde ich die Touchscreen Technik Idee einfach megagenial - gab es so etwas schon einmal vorher? Es soll ja tatsächlich sehr gut klappen, Infrarot... Matrix..., die Idee ist so einfach, aber einfach klasse!

Ich hab das Hands-on Video bei Johannes (lesen.net) gesehen, der blättert ja megaschnell um, krasse sache. Und auf touchscreens steh ich sowieso total.

Ich finde er sieht schon klasse aus und ist deutlich heller als der Oyo.
Momentan würde Ich doch schon eher den 650er haben wollen, wobei der Preis sehr abschreckend ist :-(

Das Video von Charbax finde ich auch klasse, er geht besonders auf den exakten Touchscreen ein, das ist schon beeindruckend - außerdem meint er auch, dass er noch nie von einer solchen Technik gehört hat, und das hat dann schon etwas zu heißen. ^^

Ich habe gerade noch ein Video zur PDF Handhabung gefunden.

Schöner wäre allerdings, wir hätten mal eine Seite mit Fotos. Was man allerdings sehen kann ist, dass die Pearl-Displays wirklich schnell sind. Das ist schon ein gewaltiger Unterschied zum 505-Display.

Für Nutzer, die aber überwiegend Zeitungen, Comics oder ähnliches lesen möchten, ist das aber immer noch nicht sehr praktikabel, dazu müßte Sony ein größeres Display bieten.

Ich kann mit meinem 5" Display beim Archos problemlos größere Seiten lesen, weil ich hier das PDF, wie gewünscht, schnell verschieben kann. Hier sind die konventionellen Displays noch weit überlegen.

Und man kann wirklich den Text schieben, für E-Ink genial, aber im Vergleich zum LCD doch noch sehr mühsam. Ich bin trotzdem von dem Gerät sehr angetan.

Bei mir steht der PRS-650 ganz oben und ist sogut wie gekauft, schaue mir aber noch die neuen Pocketbook an, die anderen sind für mich schon ausgeschieden :-(
Der 650er gefällt mir in allen Belangen bis jetzt, bis auf der Preis ;-)

Ich habe mir den prs650 vorbestellt und konnte mit education rabatt nochmal 7% abschlagen. Jetzt zahle ich nur 10Euro mehr als ich für den Kindle 3G bezahlt habe den ich zurückgeschickt habe. Für mich zumindest lohnt sich eher touch und besserer pdf, und anderes support als 3g+wlan beim kindle.

Hm also mir zeigt er im Sony Style Shop 229 an wenn Ich vorbestellen will, habe mich aber nicht registriert falls ich dann direkt schon bestellt hätte :-(

Also ich hatte auch erst ohne education rabatt bestellt weil es online nicht fkt hat. Dann hab ich aber bei der hotline angerufen die es mir dann eingerichtet haben nachdem ich denen ein scan meines studiausweises per email geschickt hatte. Ausserdem meinten sie dass die sony reader bei denen am 23.Sep. ankommen und sie dann wahrscheinlich am 25./27 beim kunden ankommen!!!!! Kanns kaum noch erwarten. Ich finds nur schade dass man in DE noch kein cover bestellen kann. In anderen Ländern ist das schon möglich über sonystyle oder andere verkäufer. Ich habe Angst den reader zu zerkratzen oder sonstwie kaputt zu machen.

Also bei Thalia und Saturn wissen sie garnicht wann die Reader kommen.
Thalia hat am Freitag eine Schulung für den Oyo und die neuen Sony Reader und dort erfahren sie dann auch Einzelheiten.

Ich habe nun seit einer Woche den PRS-300 und bin damit sehr zufrieden, er reicht zum lesen vollkommen aus, und sogar Uni-PDFs hab ich damit schon gelesen, das klappt auch ganz gut, und es macht einfach einen Riesenspaß damit zu lesen! =)

Nun bin ich so begeistert vom elektronischen lesen an sich, und von den neuen Sony Geräten, das ich mir schon ein Gerät vorbestellen wollte.
Ich habe von einer Bildungsaktion von Sony gehört, hat damit jemand Erfahrungen? Ich habe es mit dem PRS-650 probiert und da hat es nicht funktioniert. :- (
Ich habe mal eine Mail an den Support geschrieben, mal sehen was die dazu sagen - aber hat von euch es mal jemand probiert, und hat es bei euch geklappt?
