Kindle Errors and Typos

Interesting article and links--including one to MR (https://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=46535) from a blog named "View From the Publishing Trenches", written by Walt Shiel. Mr Shiel, are you an MRer by any chance?

Executive summary:

"Most of the problems addressed in the discussions above stem from the use of automated conversion software..."

"The best course, if you want a nicely formatted Kindle book that provides a pleasant reading experience, is to create an HTML file and then carefully manipulate that code to get the display you want."
