Good point. I'll merge the two threads.

But the downside of Amazon's free MP3s is that you are forced to accept the license agreement. I refuse to license music; I buy it.

I did not know you had to license the music ,thanks for the info .Just now replying I lost my power nothing like western N.Y. in the winter.

The license agreement is primarily for the download software you have to use. They have a unique format that gets converted by their software to mp3 as part of the download process.
