505 - Deleting pictures.

On the 505 it's no problem to delete books. But if I go to the pictures menu, I can view them but I can't see any menu item that lets me delete them. Is it possible?

The only way I could delete them is connect the 505 to my pooter and delete them using the ebook software on my pooter.

I think that's it - it's only since the firmware update in Sept that we've even been able to delete books!!

When I load some pdf books through the eBook software, pdf files go to the Pictures folder. When you go to delete them, they do not show in the pictures folder on the eBook in the eBook software - hence I can't delete them -- what is going on?

Drakeb, I have the same problem deleting PDFs that show up in the picture library. They must waste a lot of space. In fact, I'm running out of patience with the 505 and all its hiccups (won't turn off, bookmarks won't work in some titles, battery's crap, pages fade) and am thinking of cutting my losses and trashing the darned thing before I tear the rest of my hair out. Maybe get a Cybook when I'm back in funds. Tremendously disappointed because -- as a small publisher, editor, author and avid reader -- I thought it was the answer to a ten-year dream. Cheers. Neil
