Rocketfish Advanced Series VS Wacom Bamboo Stylus
Just finished a few quick tests with the new goodies I bought at Best Buy tonight.
Rocketfish Advanced Series Stylus Easy to use, kinda rough after awhile, but I got it open box for $4. he pen itself is gorgeous and heavy duty. It's pretty easy to color and draw in little spaces. Good for handwriting definitely. Wacom Bamboo Stylus Smoother than the Rocketfish, but bulkier. Works great for handwriting. Will have to try more drawing tests with it later. I like both very much. But it just shows you that pretty much any stylus designed for the iPad will work on the Kindle Fire. |

I'm curious how these work? The screen is capacitive, which means it measures a 'touch' by the change in electrical charge when it's touched...how are these stylus' accomplishing that?

The tips probably have magnets on them or something. They have these rubber nubs on them anyway.

Very nice work! What software are you using?
I tried the Griffin and AYL styuses and posted my results here: https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=158046 |

Sketchbook Mobile mostly. And yeah, I saw that! Makes the Fire so much more exciting!

That looks really good. I'll need to try one of these kinds of styluses? Styli? Whatever. I would love to have something like this for note-taking and drawing stupid pictures. Yours look great!
