Collapsing box
Is it possible, in the css of an ePub, to define a box that will shrink in from left and right to fit the text inside it? It is easy to make a fixed percentage width box, but I can't find any way to make the width of the box be defined by the width of the content. I did a lot of searching and even did a little playing around with a test css and no luck.
TIA (not holding out much hope though) |

It is all done in the .box style (this solution will probably fail if converted to some other formats. Try and see what you get ) |

Thanks for the info, but it didn't do what I wanted. It was close to what I had tried before. I did three boxes containing three different phrases - a short, medium, and long phrase. All 3 ended up in the same size box sized according to 60% of the width, as expected. I would like the box to fit close around each phrase based on the phrase length. I guess that isn't going to work. I could define a wide box, a medium box, and a narrow box I guess.
