You also forgot:
- at least 17 Mobile Read users starting a whole side-discussion about the Bayonet fittings versus screw bases - the individualist who argues for LED or halogen lighting instead - and the non-English speaker who participates in his/her native tongue |

This is my favorite, along with the one who posts pictures of how they make thier own lightbulbs using glassblowing techniques, with pictures and references to websites about glassblowing and the history of the light bulb.

Then there's the wag who points out that this whole white/dark light only thing isn't all that advanced, and demands that there should be a bulb right now that can display 65,000 colors.
And the ones who would point out that a Bight Bull is just as good. |

TadW you have it ALL WRONG! We don't need to change light bulbs. The light bulbs are actually LEDs used in the book light for reading with our eink based readers. We have to change the BATTERIES!

Nate's not a lurker here, but then we did change our light bulbs. Maybe he is a lurker at a site where they do not change their light bulbs.

And just when it all starts to die down at least one person like me to show up and asks, "Do you guys think I need or would like a lightbulb?" Like what kind of answer was I expecting from a forum composed entirely of lightbulb nuts.
Of course we can also get the whole transatlantic thing going, is it a lightbulb, a lamp or a globe. |

Wait a minute - what about the not yet available LED light bulbs. Low energy, last forever, more natural than compact fluorescent. Let's all start bugging the manufacturer for early release.

Then there is the whole debate about light markup light bulbs vs. heavy markup light bulbs and light bulbs with LMR (Light Management Rights)
