Thank you very much for that video review.
After reading other users input here on MR I got the impression that the contrast was horrible. But watching your video I can see that it is actually not that bad at all. So I am definitely still considering the 600 for an upgrade to my 505 as I would really like to have dictionary support. But one thing that strikes me when watching the video: I couldn't help noticing the ragged right on some of the text Does Sony still not support full justification for epubs on their new devices? |

It doesn't fully justify ePUBs, nor does the Sony desktop program when used to read an ePUB. I nearly forgot about this since I actually dislike full justification.

Thanks for your message and test. However, if original books are justified, both ADE and Sony Library do show them justified. At least for me (Library v3.0, Win XP). From my point of view, books should look exactly as the author expected and the ePub code indicates . So, if a book, or some parts of, are justified, left-aligned, or right-aligned, the device must also show it in this way. Then, maybe, once did it correctly, they can add an user option to disable justify, if user dislike it. True, professional, books are also correctly and fully hyphenated, but very few people using Sony, curiously, care or complaint in forums or to Sony about this feature. While this is a common source of frustation and complaints here, in many european countries. Last edited by jotas; 08-29-2009 at 12:36 PM. |

According to the photos of the Daily Edition, it's going to have fully justified ePub. |
