Maybe. But if any of the new glyphs are used, there won't be any kerning for them. It would be too much work to start over with fresh kerning.

All blotches you may see derive of my mediocre photographic skills. In reality the screen looks fine with even lighting.

It looks ok, but I prefer Isidore, which I found on mobileread.

Isidore is also a nice font. For my taste it is a bit too edgy, but to each his own

Only minus is, it can look a little bit squarish.

Thanks for the tip on Bitter, looks nice on my Sage, and squeezes in a few more words per screen/page than Literata at the same settings.

I’ve never had the kobo set to publisher’s default. Does this mean they embed a font into the ebook?

For some reason, I can't get Sitka to show up on my Kobo.

In the Windows 10 font folder, I moved Sitka Text (Regular, Italic, Bold, Bold italic) to the Kobo font folder. They show up in the font folder as expected, but are not in the font list.

Edit: The file extensions were TTC. Changing them to TTF got Sitka to show, though now I have six listings for Sitka (Banner, Heading, Small, etc) though Sitka Text is the only set of files I copied over.

The file names weren't the issue, the extension was. I saw .tt and stopped paying attention there. I found out .ttc is a font collection. Changing to .ttf worked as mentioned above, though I got the whole Sitka family, even though in the Windows 10 folder, they are seperate and I only copied over the Sitka Text files.

It looks nice, but not nice enough to deal with the headaches. I just deleted the files and will use Literata Book again.

You can extracted ttc online, that's what i did, site is https://transfonter.org/ttc-unpack

I googled Sitka and downloaded the ttfs - didn't look too bad in the stock reader, but still prefer Bitter KOReader

There's several flavors of Sitka. Which did you grab? The only downloadable one I saw was Sitka Small.

Not sure what the differences are on an ereader. I went with Sitka Text.
