Device: Kobo Aura HD
Kobo Aura won't start

Good evening,
I am having an issue with my kobo aura hd.
When i try to turn it on using the normal button, nothing happens.
If I plug it to a power source, bot the screen and the led blink a couple of times, but then the device doesn't turn on.
If i press the soft reset button (the tiny hole) while the device is linked to a power source, the double blinking process starts, but it leads to no results. If i press the soft reset button when the device is not linked to a power source, nothing happens.
Last things I did before experiencing this issue were:
-factory reset,
-connected to my PC and initialized using Kobo Desktop,
-disconnected and it was working.
-I then re-connected it to my pc, turned on Kobo Desktop and after uploading one file, I disconnected it without safe unplug.
I really tried every possible combination of soft reset button/power source/power button nut the double blinking process is the only response i can get out of the e-reader.
Any ideas? even the most basic thing is appreciated,
thanks guys!

Replug it into the computer. Then safely eject.
Kobo sometimes hates unsafe ejection.

I don't know what triggered the problem, but I you will need to do a factory reset to get anywhere. The steps are:

- Charge the device for at least an hour.
- Hold the power switch in the off position for at least 20 seconds to force a power off.
- While holding the light button down, turn the device on.
- Release the light button when the LED flashing changes or the screen does.

If this doesn't work, try again, but hold everything for a bit longer.

If it still doesn't work, you need to examine the screen to make sure it isn't damaged. If it isn't you can try opening it and putting a new image onto the internal SD card.
