I have mine set for no covers. When I had my Sony & my Nook I really didn't care for the covers.

Seeing the cover helps me remember that I have read the book and remember the author and title. I would prefer color but have black and white covers in my PW. I also also go to the cover when starting a book and start to "read" from there.

I have an e-ink reader so color covers are not an option. I don't care much about covers anyway; it's the inside of the book I want to look at!

Since my e-reader is an e-ink, there is no colour cover. But I do like seeing the cover displayed when the reader is sleeping/turned off.

I don't display them on my e-reader at all. Everything is in list view by choice.

Ideally, I would prefer color covers - that is, when I feel like not using list view. But color covers would mean using a tablet instead of an e-ink reader, and I'd rather have e-ink than have color covers.

What's a cover?
Even in my (dwindling) pbook collection, I rarely see anything but the spine. |

My ereader is B&W, so that's what I see.
If color is an important part of the work, like a comic book or magazine, I read it on an Android tablet. |

Titles listed in three pages of collections. Never go over three pages of collection titles and bung books straight in. Cover view, for me, takes up too much space.
They look pretty in the app tho' |

I prefer to see the covers. Not seeing the covers on my kindle keyboard was probably the only thing I missed from reading physical books.

I obviously prefer the color of my Ipad when reading but I still love my Kobo e-reader for its unbeatable battery life.

I miss the covers also. Some like the White Dragon or Intergral Trees were beautiful and I liked to look at them before I started reading. I don't miss them enough to read on a tablet instead of e-ink but I do miss them. I could also remember the book some particular title refered to from the cover picture better than from just the title. One of the things I like about Calibre is that I can see the covers and the book description as I scroll down the list.
