Hello again. Where we can suggest fearures from dev?I just want some extra steps for brightness,as minimum brightness is bit more bright as it should be at fully dark environment.

Oh,so these levels are stock related.I had in mind that u can do anything you want (like a rooted android phone)Thanks i didn't know that,keep up the excellent work,waiting patiently for next build😇

Android phones also have hardware limitations though? Afaik it's only the audio volume steps that are hardcoded to insanely awful values in software.

They have.But you can always set the minimum brightness to even ~0% (barely see screen content) but i think this can be achieved only with custom rom.Volume steps are also awfull,but again here you can always change them as you like.So maybe a custom rom is needed in our case to have this result on screen.

What we're trying to convey is that in Android vocab we're already running as root with none of the beyond idiotic artificial limitations like 15 or fewer volume levels in build.prop. Indeed it's not necessarily impossible that a custom kernel could provide more but it's a very different scenario. On Android you're normally unlocking that which we already have access to.

I see.So it's ok.Another thing,is to ask if is possible to set cable to just transfer files between my kindle basic and my PC.I don't want everytime my tablet to be charged so to protect battery.Soi took an old dada&charging cable and just cut the red cable (red,black,white,green) but now PC doesn't recognize the kindle at all.Is there any way to manage this?

On most isb controller data is not active if there is no power, so the only battery-friendly option is to have ssh.
