@ Roy:
You reminded me of the "god" that the boppin' lunar robots of Rudy Rucker's "ware" trilogy worship. It was really just a random number noise generator, but it is inscrutable enough for the robo-sapiens. I all ways liked that take on our own version of a deity. The fact that random number generators are *technically* not truly random makes it even more ironic. |
