So I plugged my guitar through the Sansamp Blonde directly into the line in on my keyboard and played through the studio monitors. Very satisfying. Once I hit the speaker simulation button it was grisly and dirty like I remember the old Blues Deluxe without having to turn things way do loud.

I remember the days of the classic video games. The days when the high-quality graphics actually were created within your mind. This was much like it was in the days of old-time radio, where your mind created the visuals that you were listening to on the radio.

Now, it seems like there is little room to create the visuals in your mind. TV and modern video games show exactly what everything looks like. Using the movies as a related example, everyone knows exactly what Han Solo looks like (I won't get into the whole "Han Shot First" controversy). But what if "Star Wars" only existed as a radio drama and as a series of books? What type of image would we have of each of the characters?

The Internet allows access to a massive amount of music. However, does that mean that for every recorded song in existence there is someone who likes it? Consider the fact that each of the following songs were Top 40 hits (per "The Billboard Book Of Top 40 Hits" by Joel Whitburn):

Oh man, that's a great song! Burt Bacharach and Mack David wrote that classic for the remarkable film that marked a triumphant milestone in Steve McQueen's career. Why would robots want to destroy all humans and then take over the world? It seems like it would be more of a pain than it's worth. Could the robot drive to take over the world be the result of faulty programming? Could humans avoid a robot takeover by ensuring that they give each robot flawless programming so that it can't gain the desire to take over the world?

Is voice acting a way for typecast actors to break out of their typecasting? A number of actors so associated with a single role have found a way to take on roles that they'd never be considered for on screen.

An example is Mark Hamill. He's so well known as Luke Skywalker on "Star Wars" yet he's also become well known for another role that I doubt people would associate with him in on screen: The Joker (in the Animated DC Universe). For many people, he's THE Joker and to me in his portrayal he's combined humor and creepiness in a way where The Joker maybe someone that you might laugh at...but you NEVER want to be in the same room with.

Another actor who is well known for a role is Brent Spiner (Data on "Star Trek - The Next Generation"). He recently took on the role of The Joker on "Young Justice" and he put his own spin on the role, making The Joker less humorous and more creepy. Like with Hamill, I doubt many people would think of him as The Joker.
