what satellite company do you have?
this is going to be pretty much a US specific question sorry. also specifically satellite. short of $5000 it is impossible for me to get cable here.
I've been a loyal DISH customer for almost 15 years and just have had possibly the worst 2 customer service hours in my life. |

I have DirecTV. My brother, who also has DirecTV and I were talking about switching to Dish for lower pricing. He made the switch and the very same day called DirecTV and had them re-install.
The Dish installer made a mess of things and stole a custom switcher my brother had made (he got it back). My sister in Florida has Dish and after seeing how hers operates, I'll stick with DirecTV. They all suck (just as all cell phone companies suck). You just have decided which suck you can live with. |

Daffy's right. We have DirecTV too, after having no television content provider for over a year because we refuse to do business with Comcast. The first bill nearly sent me into apoplexy, and it took four or five calls to customer service to get the prices listed on the website. If it wasn't a contract service, I'd probably have gone back to no tv content at all.
