It is possible to run a calibre library in the Megasync folder.
And there is no difference to Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, ..... in their sync folders.
My Backup of one library is in Mega (46 GB).

How many books did you upload and how long did that take....
Have you then actually accessed that upload from a reader device? How?

It works for me. With OneDrive. After device reboot.

Mega... I don't think it makes ANY sense to add support for mega to CC, there are much better options.

Yes,
- Android Megasync (Download complete library = 47 hours incl 9 interrups), CC Cloud connect to library on SD card (Likebook Alita 512 GB)
- Donload to another Computer into Calibre - works.
I tested just for fun!
But the standard procedure would be;
Copy Calibre library to megasync folder - megasync.
Connest to wireless device - main transfer books from Calibre.
When new books in Calibre library, file sync with megasync folder - megasync

Yes, I would like to request a more modern icon as well. The current one looks like it's from the dark ages. Apps don't really look like that anymore. It gives a bad impression and makes me hesitate to place the app in a prominent place on my home screen.

I don't think changing the icon is a priority, but Devs could make it into a competition - invite designs and give a free subscription to the winner?

Yandex.Drive (yes, you can say 'Russian Goverment links' but they at least have working 3rd party clients and Yandex ownership structure is more clear than Mega's).
iCloud (not sure if it's possible to make 3rd party client on non-Apple platform but Mega doesn't have 3rd pary clients I'm aware of anyway).
WebDAV/FTP/SFTP (aka 'use your own NAS/your own server')

Mega 50 GB - now 15, and for a lot of users important: Mega speaks o lot of languages!
Yandex 10 GB - I tried yandex briefly - I have never seen such crap before.
And the 32 GB was only available in a short period in 2017
But it may look nice for inexperienced people
