Please Explain Statement from Sony UK
This was posted at thebookseller.com recently. I find this last statement by Mr Gurnah rather strange and, perhaps, inaccurate.

That sounds like corporate-speak for, "of the top 20 bestselling ebooks in our store, we have exclusive contracts for 11."

'Cos I bet he's not talking about bootleg Harry Potter ebooks.

I wouldn't be surprised if the top twenty best-selling ebooks globally weren't all on the Kindle - purely in terms of market share.
