Synchronising "Book" and "Code" views

If I work with a "split" view and show both the "book" and the "code" views, is there a way of keeping them in sync? With no "search" facility available (unless I've overlooked it?) finding which part of the code corresponds to which part of the book is not at all straightforward if the book is several thousand pages long.

Harry, you should really take a look at the issue tracker. This problem has already been reported, discussed, and accepted.
