Hi wwefan, welcome to MobileRead!

You can download many Charles Dickens books here in our own MobileRead library. They come in single issues, not one complete set, but they are all proof-read and well-done.

On the blue ribbon on the top of this page, go to E-Books, then choose Epub and afterwards the letter D.

It appears to be well received.

If you're looking for complete, then (in my opinion) it would be the Delphi Classics.

If you were looking for individual works, then the best place (again, in my opinion) would be here at MobileRead as also mentioned by another member.

I don't think Harry would ever upload an abridged work by Charles Dickens.

His compilations are superb; I have them all.

AFAIK they are not abridged. IIRC he painstakingly went through all of his Dickens volumes and proofed them by comparing them to the original printed works. He'll probably drop by this thread, provided he sees it, and let us know. Otherwise a quick Personal Message will get you a for sure answer.

Well I'm sure HarryT will see this but if you look at the info on his uploads, he says:

Quote:
Thoroughly proof-read against the "Oxford Illustrated Dickens". Many hundreds of errors corrected - textual errors, incorrect paragraph breaks, missing italics and accents, etc.
So, searching for information about 'Oxford Illustrated Dickens' leads to:

Quote:
...this popular edition of Dickens's classic works is the most comprehensive available and is illustrated with original engravings by "Phiz", Cruikshank and others.
Above quote from waterstones.com . My bold for emphasis
