First, put it on the floor because you don't want to try standing on it while you're holding it in your hands. Then hold your book at a comfortable distance. Now read your book while standing on your ipod.

Okay, sorry for that. I just had to.

Reading from an iPod is apparently not easy although I wish it were easy because I want one. Here's a page in the MobileRead Wiki on the ipod for reading: https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/IPod

You may also want to do a search and see if there are other users here.

And welcome, Delecta!

Hi Delecta and welcome to the forum.

Reading on the Ipod is a bit of a hit and miss preposition.

The only way to read on a unmodified Ipod classic or 5th gen is to load a text file in the notes folder and read from there.

However there is a limit to the size, and as such is not that useful. Not sure wabout alternatives for the Touch or the iPhone.

Best option would probably be to run a few searches for ipod + e-book / reading on the forum itself to get some results
