Trying to view an ebook results in Add Book dialog
When I try to view an ebook I get a dialog telling me I have added ebook and it has found a duplicate. It is trying to add the same book already in the library and instead of viewing it.
Right click View and View specific format also try and add the book. Is this a bug or a setting that needs changing? Any help appreciated. Calibre 2.1 with Linux Mint 17 KDE |

You need to change your KDE level file associations to set some application other than calibre to open the files, I'm guessing this is with PDF files.

I have not had to do that before, but it worked. It was all ebooks - mobi, epub etc I had to set all the file associations to use E-book Viewer and not Calibre. thanks kovidgoyal |
