Written in three days and once read by every high school student in the US, Candide has always been a favorite book of mine since I was a kid.

The thought for making this ebook came from a PM with Patricia (thanks for jogging my memory) and that I could not find my own copy of the book. I created the ebook version rather than buy a new one. Call it cheap or call it frugal, here it is for all to enjoy.

Clearly great minds think alike (or fools never differ). I uploaded a Candide on the 30th June. I shall have fun comparing our versions, though I expect that yours will have more beautiful fonts on the title page.

Meanwhile, let a thousand flowers bloom.

I never intended to duplicate your effort. I looked earlier for a copy and could not find one on MobileRead.

Thank you for the compliment on the fonts, it is one area that I do have fun with.

Great minds or fools, I think fools is closer to the truth. At least in my case.
