There are very good BBC radio adaptions of the Charles Paris mysteries. I don't know how true they are to the books, but they have Bill Nighy playing Charles Paris. Brilliant.

I have added the books to a watch list. They might drop to £1.00 eventually.... even if that's a decade!

Bill Nighy is a wonderful actor (better, once assumes, than Charles Paris!). AFAIR, BBC radio is not subject to geo-restrictions, so I'll give them a go. They'd be pretty terrific for a bedtime listen.

Some of the BBC Radio online/streaming isn't available in Ireland. But Satellite is. R4 LW works in the car nearly everywhere in Ireland and has been reprieved till next year. Supposed to end yesterday.
