Can someone point me in the direction of the instructions on how to use this plugin? Apparently I installed it awhile ago, setup a couple libraries to compare, and then never really did much with it. Now I have no clue how to do anything with it and can't find the tools that it supposedly comes with. Where are they? I've looked at every menu option and can't find anything. I downloaded all of the PDFs at the beginning of this thread but none of them tell me how to find the tools it shows clear pictures of. I have a bunch of books between libraries that I want to compare but I can't find anything to show me how to actually do so.

And I have looked at them but apparently I'm completely missing something because I cannot find any basic instructions on how to find the tools to use this plugin. All of the pictures show the tools themselves but not where to find them. I'm not even seeing the directions on how to setup the initial CALM library. Frankly looking at the first posts it looks like a continuation of another thread but no link back to the earlier thread. I've done a thread search for tutorial or instruction and found nothing to tell me how to use the plugin.

It looks like there's supposed to be an icon that looks like a purple pitchfork with the word CALM under it. I can't find it anywhere in my Calibre. And I have checked that CALM is installed. I even tried deleting and reinstalling it. The icon doesn't appear anywhere.

Which OS and which flavour/version, and which versions of calibre and CALM.
IIRC it must be configured in Prefs->Plugins. BR |

Which various buttons? I have checked all of my menus and I do not have the CALM icon anywhere.

Edited to add: Every time I try to click on customize plugin with CALM selected it tells me I need to restart Calibre. I do, and nothing happens other than Calibre restarting. I'm right back where I started. Last edited by BookJunkieLI; 06-24-2020 at 08:09 PM. |

Put the CALM icon on your toolbar to run it. That is where the config is done. See the OP for pictures and a slideshow.

The icon doesn't appear in my toolbar options. I've looked at every toolbar/menu option and it doesn't appear in any of the lists.

Just to see what would happen I installed Calibre 64bit 4.19 on my computer and I still don't see the icon and I still get the message that I need to restart Calibre before I can configure CALM when I go to Preferences=>Plugins
Added: And yes, I made sure to install CALM as well. |

I just installed the version from here 'Old' Plugins for 'Old' Calibre Versions in Calibre Portable. I can add the CALM icon to my Toolbar, and it functions - see attachment.
Seems something has gone awry in recent CALM updates. BR |
