I don't know if BooksOnBoard would ship a Gen3 to Canada. However, Sony officially sells the 505 in Canada.

Nobody has posted any problems. And I know some people here have purchased the Gen3 from BooksOnBoard.

I bought a Cybook from BooksOnBoard, and I'm a fan. Their customer support is prompt to reply (even in off-peak hours), their Accidental Damage plan is excellent, and I feel like they've made a ton of improvements to their site in the time I've been buying from them (less than 6 months). My sister had an extremely positive experience with them; she actually dropped her Cybook quite a distance and broke the screen, but she had the 2-year Cybook Accidental Damage plan so she shipped them her Cybook and they sent her an entirely new Cybook within a week I believe. She didn't have to wait for her Cybook to be repaired, didn't have to ship it to France, didn't have to jump through hoops for her device. They made the whole process extremely smooth and hassle-free. I definitely recommend doing business with them.

I also had a great experience purchasing my Cybook from BoB. They are really good at communicating, as much as they can, ship dates and other information, if you are doing the backorder thing. The book selection is good and easy to use/download and the prices are competitive.

I also purchased my Gen3 from BooksOnBoard, and the process was entirely painless.
