Ive read a lot of zombie novels over the years, some poor, some very good. 'Resurrection' & the follow up, 'Into the waste land' by Michael J Totten, are two of the best.

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/...0-resurrection

And its got an interesting twist..

A zombie novel with a different perspective is The No.1 Zombie Detective Agency by Danny King.
Quote:
The world has been taken over by zombies. Small pockets of humanity remain. Cities lay in ruins.

But none of this can stop Jake Trundle from solving the biggest case of his career because Jake Trundle is also a zombie. And somewhere deep within the recesses of his long dead brain flicker the embers of the last case he was working before the world turned to hell. And now he is compelled to solve it for all eternity, or at least until New Orleans falls down around his ears.

I gave it 4 stars. Danny King is one of my favourite authors, so it was always going to be a winner for me.
