How best manage Foreword and Translator(s) info
Hi everybody,
Your advice needed. Foreword Author info may be important and I don't want to miss it. So I created a custom column from Names quick template for it and added it to Book view. However if I want to check about the FW author's name then I have to add it to the Book Authors field as well. It is the only way to manage it. Ditto for Translator's name. Has anybody experienced the same or do you have a better solution to suggest? Any idea thankfully welcome! |

My personal method is just to put the role in ( ) within the Authors field.
Smith (ed) Jones (trans) Gupta (illus) The Author sort value ignores the (stuff), but the whole value does appear in the Tag Browser : Authors list |
