Unfortunately it doesn't appear to work with the Sony e-books. At least this is what I found when installing the needed software to listen to the audio book.

No, Sony doesn't support Audible (Kindle is the only eInk device I know of that supports it). Most MP3 players, many Smartphones, some PDA's and Windows or Mac PC's support it.

That's also odd, given that the Sony 700 does play songs.
